If anyone is injured, if your vehicle is in a live traffic lane, or if there is any immediate danger, contact the emergency services before anything else. Your safety comes first.
If you've broken down or had an incident
- Get yourself and passengers to a safe place, away from moving traffic where possible.
- Switch on hazard lights and, if you have one and it's safe, place a warning triangle well behind the vehicle.
- Wear a hi-vis vest if you have one, especially at night or in poor weather.

Can you recover me from a busy road?
Recovery from busy roads needs extra care and the right equipment. Describe exactly where you are in your request so the safest approach can be planned.
How long will I wait?
During launch we don't quote fixed response times because we won't promise something we can't yet guarantee. We'll always be upfront about what's realistic when you get in touch.
Can you recover a car with no keys, or one stuck in gear?
Situations like a lost key, a car left in gear, or a vehicle that can't be steered are common and usually workable with the right equipment. Describe exactly what's happening in your request so recovery arrives prepared.
My car is in a tight spot — a car park, alley or driveway. Is that a problem?
Awkward access — tight car parks, narrow lanes, low clearance or a blocked-in vehicle — can often still be handled, though it affects which equipment is needed. Note the access details and any restrictions in your request so it can be planned properly.
