Auction Vehicle Collection in Glasgow

Won a car at auction? We help arrange collection and delivery to Glasgow — runners and non-runners alike.

Buying at auction is the easy part. Getting the vehicle home — often a non-runner, often hundreds of miles away, always against a storage-fee deadline — is where people get stuck. Glasgow Recovery Help connects buyers with local transport support for collections from Copart, BCA, SYNETIQ, Manheim, John Pye and other auction sites, delivered to your address or garage in the Glasgow area.

Because auction collection is planned rather than an emergency, it suits our request form perfectly: send the details and we will follow up about arranging the move.

How auction collection works

Auction sites release vehicles to named collection agents against your buyer details and lot number, and most charge storage after a few free days — so the deadline matters. A flatbed collects the vehicle (winched on if it does not run), secures it, and delivers it to the destination you choose.

What to include in your request

  • The auction house and site location, plus the lot number.
  • Your collection deadline — when storage charges start.
  • Whether the vehicle drives, rolls in neutral, or neither (winch needed).
  • The delivery address in or around Glasgow, and any access limits.

Runners and non-runners

Non-runners are the norm at salvage auctions and no obstacle with the right equipment — flatbeds with winches handle vehicles that do not start, do not roll, or carry accident damage. Mention wheel or steering damage in your request so the collection arrives prepared.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

My auction storage deadline is tomorrow. Can you help?

Tight deadlines are common with auction purchases. Send your request with the deadline clearly stated and we will be honest about whether a collection can realistically be arranged in time during our launch phase.

Can you collect a non-runner or accident-damaged car?

Yes — that is what flatbeds and winches are for. Describe the condition honestly (does it start, does it roll, is there wheel or steering damage) so the right equipment arrives.

Which auction sites can be collected from?

Collections typically cover Copart, BCA, SYNETIQ, Manheim and John Pye sites across central Scotland and further afield. Name the exact site in your request and we will work from there.

Can the car be delivered to my garage instead of my home?

Yes — delivery can go to your home, a garage, a bodyshop or storage. Include the destination address and any access restrictions in your request.
